This guide answers common questions about Dynamic Flow.

Q: What is Dynamic Flow?

Dynamic Flow is an upgraded version of Persona's Inquiry product. To learn about the benefits, visit the Dynamic Flow product page.

Dynamic Flow is the default version of Inquiries in new Persona organizations. Throughout product documentation, the term Inquiry refers to a Dynamic Flow, unless otherwise specified.

Q: What is a Dynamic Flow Inquiry Template?

A Dynamic Flow Inquiry Template defines the Verification checks, end user flow, and look-and-feel of a Dynamic Flow. To learn more about the role of a Template, see Key concepts: Inquiry, Verification, and other terms.

You can configure a Dynamic Flow Inquiry Template using a visual no-code editor within the Persona Dashboard.

Q: How do I know if I'm using a Dynamic Flow Inquiry Template?

To tell if a Template is a Dynamic Flow Template, look at its ID:

  • If the Template ID starts with itmpl_, it's a Dynamic Flow Template.
  • If the Template ID starts with tmpl_, it's the older-style Template.

The Inquiry Templates view of the Persona Dashboard displays the ID of each Template. To get to this page, select "Inquiries" > "Templates" from the navigation bar.

Q: How can I start using Dynamic Flow?

Dynamic Flow is the default in new Persona organizations.
