What is Create Inquiry?
The Create Inquiry button, which can be found on the Inquiries page of your Dashboard, lets you create a link for a single unique inquiry and associate a reference ID with that inquiry. You can then send the link to an individual who would be prompted to go through the verification flow.
Why Create an Inquiry?
Previously, you could associate a reference ID with an inquiry by manually adding one to the end of the hosted flow link found in the Development page of the Dashboard, or by passing in a reference ID through the embedded code snippet integration.
Create Inquiry makes it easier for your support team to add a reference ID for a one-off inquiry. You can then use that reference ID to cross-reference against, for example, a unique customer ID in your system and/or easily search for that inquiry by its reference ID.
How do I Create an Inquiry?
The Create Inquiry button can be found on the top right corner of the Inquiries page of your Dashboard.
You will be asked to select a template (if you have more than one template) and to add an optional reference ID.
After hitting "Create Inquiry" you will see a link to a unique inquiry with the status Created. This is the link you can send to the individual to prompt them to go through your verification flow.
When you view your inquiry, you will see that the reference ID you entered is now associated with that unique inquiry. You can also use this ID to easily search for the inquiry.
You can always access the inquiry link again via the Share button on the top right corner of the inquiry details page.
